The Uncork Barrington 2011 event takes place Friday, July 8, 2011. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the event closes down at 10:00 p.m. The event takes place at the community tents in the north commuter parking lot of the Barrington Train Station.

The BVA has been happy to present this event as an enjoyable opportunity to visit Barrington, taste 50 wines, sample local foods and have fun! It takes well more than 100 volunteers to successfully plan, staff and clean up the Uncork event. The BVA procures most of its staffing by offering donations to charitable and other not-for-profit organizations -- most of them local ones -- designated by the individuals who work for Uncork. The following provides some description of the volunteer jobs, requirements, and pertinent donations.
